Shortly after Savannah and Josh met, she forgot where she parked her car in Center City Philadelphia. After searching for the parking lot for an hour, Josh thought she was too mesmerized by their encounter to remember. However, after a couple weeks of dating, he quickly realized she is just forgetful. Two years after their introduction in Philadelphia, Josh got down, somewhere near that parking lot, on one knee to ask for Savannah’s hand in marriage.
Their relationship has been one filled with a lot of travel: long commutes between Harrisburg and Villanova, trips to St. Lucia, Boston, Florida, Las Vegas, Charleston, New York, Washington D.C., unplanned visits to the Harrisburg Hospital, and late-night trips to Target, and finally to Greenville, SC for their wedding. While some were fun, others necessary, Savannah and Josh look to find the fun and humor in all their journeys. They enjoy taking the less traveled route and finding what is unique about the places they go. They also have had a lot of fun (for the most part) decorating and designing their new home, an experience that also doubles as a good marriage lesson on compromise—meaning Josh has adopted Savannah’s Southern style!
They also share co-parenting duties for baby Milo, their pomsky puppy. Now that Savannah has graduated from law school and Josh is no longer having to drive an hour and a half to see her, Milo is making sure to keep them on the go with a lot more adventures to come!
